**A Transformative Weekend: Echo-Seminar Workshop on Journalism**

As the weekend unfolded on November 28-29, 2017, an unexpected turn of events kept us from convening for our Creative Writing course, creating an interval ripe with anticipation. This brief hiatus, however, was anything but uneventful. During these two days, a significant chapter in our academic journey unfolded as we delved into the realms of journalism through the Echo-Seminar workshop, held at the library of Capiz State University, Burias campus.

For me, this workshop was more than a mere event; it was a stepping stone towards honing our writing skills and shaping us into accomplished writers. The knowledge imparted during the workshop breathed life into the art of crafting articles, offering a platform for us to harness our potential. The English Major students, along with a select group from the laboratory and the College of Business Administration, gathered under the guidance of our ever-supportive teacher, Professor Genelyn Baranda.

The seminar’s impact was profound, underlined by the brilliance of the speakers who effortlessly conveyed their insights. The speakers, with their impeccable delivery, brought life to the information, allowing us to absorb it with enthusiasm. Throughout the two-day event, our fellow students actively engaged, collaborating and posing questions to clarify their understanding. This eagerness to learn and their collaborative spirit wove an atmosphere of camaraderie, fostering a dynamic learning environment.

These days were more than just an academic exercise; they marked a pivotal moment in my learning journey. The practical knowledge gained left an indelible mark, illuminating the path of my growth as a writer. As I reflect on those moments, I realize that it wasn't just about imbibing information; it was about the joy of being part of an intellectual community, where writing became a bridge that connected us all.

In retrospect, those two days transformed a weekend into a realm of exploration and growth. The workshop exemplified the essence of learning through experience, revealing that even unplanned diversions can unveil a treasure trove of learning. As I wrap my thoughts around these experiences, I can't help but recognize the beauty of writing – its capacity to transcend time and space, its knack for bridging gaps, and its ability to infuse every moment with meaning. Through these moments, writing revealed itself as more than just words on paper; it emerged as a conduit for self-discovery and a window into the world's inexhaustible wisdom.
